After a 40-second teaser was aired during Super Bowl on Sunday, the full trailer of Ron Howard’s Solo: A Stars Wars Story was broadcast during ABC’s popular show Good Morning America.
“I’ve been running scams on the street since I was ten,” says Han Solo (Alden Ehrenreich) in the trailer. “I was kicked out of the flight academy for having a mind of my own. I’m going to be a pilot... the best in the galaxy.”
Howard’s Star Wars spin-off film is dedicated to the adventures of Solo during his younger days before he became the Rebel Alliance fighter and famed captain of the Millennium Falcon. Ehrenreich steps into Harrison Ford’s shoes.
Also starring Woody Harrelson, Emilia Clarke, Donald Glover, Thandie Newton, Phoebe Waller-Bridge and Paul Bettany, the film will be released on May 25.
