“Every time you cook, you give some part of yourself to it,” Sonali Kulkarni’s voice says in the background as mouthwatering delicacies are prepared in the teaser for Sachin Kundalkar’s upcoming Marathi film Gulabjaam.
Produced by Zee Studios, the film is about a chef in London (Siddharth Chandekar) who tries to set up a restaurant serving traditional Maharashtrian delicacies there with some help from Radha (Sonali Kulkarni), who is from Pune. The movie will be released on February 16.
Kundalkar’s slice of life movies including Vazandar (2016) and Rajwade and Sons (2015). His directorial debut was the food film Restaurant (2006), starring Kulkarni.
