The full-fledged trailer of Bala’s new movie Naachiyaar does not have controversial swear words like the teaser, but it does have more hair-raising scenes of custodial torture. Jyothika, in a drastic image makeover, plays a ruthless police officer, while music composer and occasional actor GV Prakash Kumar, his face browned with make-up, appears to be the run. The movie is scheduled for a February 9 release – the perfect pre-Valentine’s Day offering.
