Apparently, taking care of a toddler is tiresome, demanding, and, to quote the title of Justin Timberlake’s new single, Filthy.
YouTube performer Mike Tompkins saw the potential in pairing Timberlake’s song about a robot with the difficulties of parenting. The outcome is his A Capella cover of Filthy, hilariously laments the troubles of parenting (above).
Tompkins transformed Timberlake’s original song about a sexualised dancing robot (bottom), into a “clean” song about parenting a two-year-old.
“Baby, don’t you mind if I do, yeah
Take one little nap, or two
Got me singin’ ‘ooh, ooh’
So, baby, don’t you mind if I do
Get your filthy hands up off me
Ya know this is the clean version
What you wanna do with all that mess?
Best clean that up before mom’s home.”
