Virat Kohli’s team selection for the Cape Town Test against South Africa raised a lot of eyebrows. Commentators and analysts were left reeling with the news that Jasprit Bumrah would make his debut in the first Test and that vice captain Ajinkya Rahane was dropped for the first time since Kohli took over as captain.

We don’t think it would be an exaggeration to say not a single prediction about the possible Indian playing XI ahead of the first Test would have turned out to be true. We know we didn’t get it – all said and done 10 out of 11 wasn’t bad though.

And now, with selection calls dominating the discussion ahead of the all-important second Test, we thought we’d crowd-source the task of choosing India’s XI that will step out on Saturday at the Supersport Park in Centurion.

Should Rahane be brought back? Should KL Rahul open the batting? Or is Kohli is going to surprise us all by naming an unchanged XI for the first time as Test captain?
