India’s star wrestler Sushil Kumar on Friday booked his place at the 2018 Commonwealth Games to be held at Gold Coast, Australia in April.
The Olympic medallist defeated Jitender Kumar in the 74 kg category in the final qualification round on Friday.
Sushil, who made a return to the international arena earlier this year, had recently won gold at the Commonwealth Wrestling Championships in Johannesburg.
Sushil had won gold at the 2010 Delhi Games as well as the 2014 CWG in Glasgow.
