If it weren’t for laziness and negligence, the people in Anshan, in China’s Liaoning Province, may never have had a stunning frozen waterfall in the middle of their city.
The video above shows a spectacular 10-metre tall “icefall” on the facade of an abandoned building, much like a scene from Frozen. However, it wasn’t the Snow Queen who made the waterfall – it was a pipe that had been leaking since October and not been attended to.
It was only when the waterfall froze over thanks to sub-zero temperatures that the beauty of the frozen sculpture started to attract crowds. Great art is so serendipitous.
