With several achievements and announcements, 2017 will go down as a great year for the space age. And if NASA is to be believed, the coming year will be even more exciting (video above).
NASA’s 2018 to-do list includes, but is not limited to:
- Sending a robot to Mars.
- Reaching Bennu, a near-Earth asteroid which is as old as our solar system.
- Embarking on a journey to get closer to the sun like never before, on the Parker Solar Probe.
- Living and working in space, aboard the International Space Station, for the 18th consecutive year.
- Using space lasers to measure ice and map forests on Earth.
Just imagine the spectacular sights from these expeditions that we will get to see.
