What happens when a photographer and a video-journalist make a rolling home in a medium truck? They drive all over Europe and Asia, of course, and capture it on camera to show it off to the world.

That’s just what Marco Lars and Ananda Rani did. The German couple, popular for their travel blog Follow the White Mog, went on an adventurous road trip from Germany to India in a white Unimog (which is where they get their name), an all-wheel drive truck.

The pair drove through 16 countries on their way to India, including Croatia, Montenegro, Greece, Turkey, Russia, Iran, China, and Pakistan – and made a video to prove it!

The road, often in a state of disrepair, from Germany to India took Lars and Rani through every sort of terrain and weather, beaches and mountains, snow and forests, deserts and cramped urban cities, and wildly beautiful landscapes, until they arrived at the Wagah border in Amritsar.

“The exact duration or course remains unclear,” they wrote. “What is certain is that (we) will drive as far as (we) can get – since roads are made for journeys not destinations.”
