Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh chief Mohan Bhagwat on Sunday said that anybody living in India is a Hindu, PTI reported. The right-wing group leader was addressing a public function at the Swami Vivekananda Maidan in Tripura’s Agartala. Bhagwat stressed that Hindutva aimed at uniting all communities and that it differed from Hinduism.
“The Muslims in India are also Hindus,” Bhagwat said. “We have no enmity with anyone. We want welfare of all.”
The RSS leader said that “tortured” Hindus from across the globe seek refuge in India.
