Left out of the limited-overs leg of the ongoing India-Sri Lanka series, Ravindra Jadeja on Friday smashed a 69-ball 154, that included six sixes in an over, for Jamnagar on the opening day of an inter-district T20 tournament of the Saurashtra Cricket Association in Rajkot, ESPNcricinfo reported.
His knock, that included 15 fours and 10 sixes helped Jamnagar defeat Amreli by 121 runs..
Opening the batting, Jadeja laid into the bowlers, but it was off-spinner Nilam Vamja, who faced his wrath. The 28-year-old smashed Vamja for six consecutive sixes, leaving the bowler with figures of 0/48 from two overs.
Jadeja was eventually run out with an over to go, but he had done enough to help the team post a total of 239/6.
