“Isn’t an elephant an animal just like us humans?” A man asks a group of people gathered in a room in the trailer for Dileep Menon’s Aana Alaralodalaral. “Am I?” retorts an elephant standing outside, spooking the man standing next to it.
The elephant is the star of Malayalam film Aana Alaralodalaral, which also features Vineeth Srinivasan and Anu Sithara in leading roles along with Suraj Venjaramoodu, Thesni Khan and Mamukkoya, which will be released on December 22. The entire village is obsessed with the pachyderm and even gets together to decide name the elephant – coming up with Inzamam Imran Khan.
The trailer reveals little else about the plot of the film, reportedly a social satire, but there are indications of a love story and plenty of intrigue.
