The editor of another Bengaluru-based tabloid has been arrested by the police, The News Minute reported on Thursday.
The police arrested Venkatesh, who used to run Bandook, and two others last week in connection with the alleged murder of a 25-year-old autorickshaw driver, who was killed on November 15 near the metro station in the Mahalakshmi Layout neighbourhood.
“He has denied the charge,” Inspector Rohith, posted at the Mahalakshmi Layout Police Station, told The News Minute.
His arrest comes days after Ravi Belagere, the editor of Hi Bangalore, was arrested for allegedly hiring contract killers to gun down his former colleague Sunil Heggaravahalli.
Belagere was granted interim bail on Wednesday on medical grounds.
