Arvind Swamy’s Bhaskar roughs up thugs and screams orders at subordinates, all the while donning a pantsuit, in the trailer for Siddique’s upcoming Tamil film Bhaskar Oru Rascal.
The movie, scheduled to come out next year, is a remake of the 2015 Malayalam comedy Bhaskar The Rascal (2015), starring Mammootty and Nayanthara, which too was made by Siddique.
In the Tamil production Arvind Swamy plays Bhaskar, a ruffian and a widower with a son, who falls for a single mother (Amala Paul). But there are obstacles in their path, not least their contrasting personalities and that of their children. The film also stars Nainika, Soori and Aftab Shivdasani.
A release date for the movie has not yet been announced.
