Music producer Nucleya took to Twitter to vent his displeasure after singer Adnan Sami extended his set, eating into the Indian EDM star’s performance at the World’s Biggest Guestlist Festival on December 2. The three-day charity event was held at DY Patil Stadium in Navi Mumbai over the weekend.
When an irate Nucleya, who was headlining the second day of the event, walked on to the stage 20 minutes later than scheduled, he reportedly urged his fans to tag Sami on social media and ask him not to repeat such behaviour. That evening, he tweeted to Sami. “Thanks for eating half my set time”, Nucleya said. “Hope you had a good show.”
The festival was organised to raise money to educate underprivileged children and featured performances by Mithoon, DJ Hardwell, W&W, Kill The Buzz and Suyano, apart from Nucleya and Sami.
Known for his hit songs Bass Rani and Baja Baja, Nucleya has also composed songs for Kapoor and Sons and Golmaal Again. He has most recently composed Paitra for Anurag Kashyap’s January 2018 movie Mukkabaaz.
