In the Ramayana, is Rama noble and Ravana evil Have we managed to sort that distinction out? Vijay Sethupathi’s Oru Nalla Naal Paathu Solren (I’ll pick an auspicious date and tell you) isn’t entirely sure.

The teaser argues that the answer is more complicated than that. As the title suggests, the characters are in no hurry to answer the question. For his part, Sethupathi appears as god as well as the demon and seems to be thoroughly enjoying the role play.

Directed by Arumuga Kumar, the adventure comedy stars Sethupathi and Gautam Karthik in the lead roles. They are accompanied by Niharika Konidela, Gayathrie and Ramesh Thilak. The soundtrack has been composed by Justin Prabhakaran.
