Anirban Dasgupta, a former victim of the corporate grind, has much to say on the subject. Understandably. Except that, being a stand-up comedian, his says it through his comedy routine.
“I don’t understand why corporates have motivational sessions, because when employees get motivated, they quit,” quips Dasgupta. “Why are you funding your own demise?” Then he gets down to clever comparisons between the marketing and sales departments. “Marketing is to sales what HR (human resources) is to humanity.”
