The Bombay Stock Exchange on Friday said it will auction investment limits on Monday, allowing foreign investors to buy government bonds worth Rs 3,930 crore.
An investment limit is the highest price investors are willing to offer for the bonds.
In a notice, BSE announced that the bidding will open at 3.30 pm and close at 5.30 pm, after market hours. A mock auction will also be conducted on Monday to check the system’s performance, the index said.
Earlier in November, government bonds had attracted bids worth Rs 3,666 crore from foreign portfolio investors, much more than the Rs 2,169 crore bonds on offer, PTI reported.
