During a rally in Chikkodi, Karnataka, the state Chief Minister Siddaramaiah entertained the crowds with a rare display of his secret talent. His uncanny imitation of Prime Minister Narendra Modi had the crowds roaring with laughter and approval.
The coverage of the event (above) by a Kannada news channel shows Siddaramaiah taking a far from subtle jibe at Modi’s unfulfilled promises. “Sabka saath! Sabka vikaas! None of that has happened,” he quipped, leaving the crowd in splits.
If that wasn’t enough, he picked up another one of Modi’s catchphrases. “Acche din aayega!” he exclaimed, with the same fiery energy as Modi usually does. “Kab aayega? Kisko aayega?...Have acche din come for any of you?” he said.
According to reports, the Chief Minister was inaugurating the new office of the Government Tool and Training Centre in Belagavi district.
