Mumbai’s Jemimah Rodrigues, who recently scored a double century in BCCI’s u-19 women’s tournament, has been rewarded with a call to the India ‘A’ squad that will take on Bangladesh ‘A’ in the upcoming home series comprising three one-day and three T20 matches.

Anuja Patil will lead both the squad in the first ‘A’ series for women, which is aimed at strengthening women’s cricket in the country, BCCI said in a release.

The one-day matches will be held in Hubli while Belgaum will host the three T20 games. Prior to the one-day series, the Bangladesh ‘A’ side will play two practice games in Alur.
