A court of chief judicial magistrate in Haryana’s Panchkula on Friday extended the judicial custody of Dera Sacha Sauda chief Ram Rahim’s adopted daughter Honeypreet Insan for 14 days, ANI reported.
The police had earlier claimed that Honeypreet Insan distributed Rs 1.25 crore among some followers of the sect to incite violence in Panchkula on August 25 when Ram Rahim Singh was convicted in two rape cases.
Honeypreet Insan and her accomplice Sukhdeep Kaur had been missing for over a month after the incident, and were arrested in Punjab on October 3.
