Kumar died on the spot after the assailants fired shots at his car in the Bisrakh area, The Times of India reported. He was the headman of Tigri village near Delhi and owned two schools in neighbouring Haibatpur village.
Kumar was reportedly returning home from one of the schools with a driver and two personal security guards when he was shot at. The police suspect that Kumar was murdered because of a property dispute, according to The Times of India.
