Tamil star Vijay’s latest film Mersal was mired in controversy for criticising the Goods and Service Tax. What, then, will be the fate of the upcoming Hindi film titled GST: Galti Sirf Tumhari (The Mistake is Yours)?
The film’s poster features an illustration of a woman shedding tears against a background of newspaper clippings. Starring Navi Bhangu and Poonam Pandey, GST: Galti Sirf Tumhari has been directed by Suryakant Tyagi and is aiming for a November release.
It is not clear if the plot actually refers to the tax regime or is a gimmick to market the movie.
