The 15th edition of the Mumbai International Film Festival for Documentary, Short and Animation Films will be held between January 28 and February 3, 2018. Documentary films, short fictional films up to a running time of 45 minutes and animation films are eligible for competition in national and international categories at the festival. Entries for competition can be submitted till November 15.
Organised by the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting’s Films Division, the first edition of the biennial festival has been held in Mumbai since 1990. The last edition held in 2016 received 825 entries for competition with 135 of them competing for international prizes.
