Veteran comedian and Hindi film actor Johnny Lever will play the lead role in SAB TV’s new show Partners, the The Indian Express reported. This is the Bollywood actor’s debut on television in a fiction series.
Lever will be seen in a double role – a police commissioner and his informer – on the show, which will also star Kiku Sharda, Vipul Roy, Kishwer Merchant, Shweta Gulati, Ashwini Kalsekar and Asrani.
On the big screen, Lever was last seen in Golmaal Again and Judwaa 2. The 60-year-old actor has also appeared on Hindi reality television in Johny Aala Re and Comedy Circus.
Partners has been written and directed by Paritosh Painter, and will be aired from the first week of November.
