A bomb exploded in Turkey’s southern province of Mersin on Tuesday, hitting a police vehicle, Reuters reported.
According to CNNTurk, at least 12 people were wounded in the explosion. Ambulances and fire trucks were deployed to the attack site.
The incident occurred while the vehicle was moving through a street where the local governor’s office is located, Mersin Mayor Burhanettin Kocamaz told broadcaster Haberturk, Reuters reported.
