Suspected militants hurled a grenade at a beauty parlour in Jammu and Kashmir’s Pulwama district on Thursday, causing minor injuries to two girls, Greater Kashmir reported. According to local reports, the attack took place at 3.45 pm.
Pulwama Superintendent of Police Chaudhary Aslam said the girls sustained splinter injuries in the attack, which took place at Rajpora Chowk. They are being treated at a local hospital.
“The beauty parlour was the target,” Aslam told Greater Kashmir. The windows of the parlour were shattered in the attack.
The Jammu and Kashmir Police and paramilitary forces have launched a search operation to apprehend the attackers.
