In Vikas Bahl’s Queen (2014), Rajkummar Rao played a heart-breaker who abandons his fiancée Rani (Kangana Ranaut) before their wedding. The roles seems to have reversed in Shaadi Mein Zaroor Aana, where Rao’s character Satyendra Mishra is the one who gets deserted on his wedding day.
Directed by Ratnaa Sinha, the November 10 release pairs Rao with Kriti Kharbanda. “Everything is fair in love and war,” Satyendra says in the trailer. “Love is over and now war begins.”
