With automated robots taking over assembly lines, electric carmaker Tesla’s CEO Elon Musk recently posted a video (above) of what the robot-driven production line of the Tesla Model 3 looks like. The tech innovator revealed that the production line is currently working at one tenth its speed.
Inside Tesla’s factory in Fremont, California, automated robots are working on the bare-metal body of the Model 3 car. The video only shows one part of the production process, which is one of the most automated. “It is slowed down right now to confirm build consistency and so that a person can stop the robots in time if something goes wrong,” Musk said on Twitter.
