Sri Lanka will play a three-day warm-up match in Kolkata ahead of their series against India starting November 16, the Board of Control for Cricket in India said on Tuesday. The island nation will play three Tests, three One-day internationals and three Twenty20 matches between November and December.
This will be Sri Lanka’s return tour following their 9-0 rout by the Virat Kohli-led team earlier this year. Following this series, Virat Kohli and Co will travel to South Africa early next yeart, where they will play three Test matches, six ODIs and three T20Is.
Sri Lanka are currently playing Pakistan in the United Arab Emirates, where Rangana Herath spun them to a dramatic win the first Test at Abu Dhabi by 21 runs.s
