Everyone knows that a college degree brings financial security, opportunities to help the environment, employment and money, and food on the table. But not in the way identified by the Australian comedy group Collective Noun.

“Congratulations! You’ve just finished University,” the group’s satirical video (above) kicks off. “And now you’re wondering what to do with your degree. Well, luckily, you’ve got options.”

It’s funny, of course, but also a serious indictment of the shrinking opportunities for college graduates – in some parts of the world, at least.
