If you’re a fan of HBO’s Game of Thrones, do you ever wish you could take part in the plotting (and the fighting) too? Since the consequences end up being dire for most of the participants, here’s a safe way to be involved in the show, short of being the writer George R R Martin himself.
Russian animator Egor Zhgun has re-designed five classic arcade games with the Game of Thrones universe in mind, and combined them into one app called Dumb Thrones. So instead of playing Whack-a-Mole or Snake, one can play Whack ’em All with George R R Martin, or Smoke the Snake, or The Wall Invaders. Zhgun’s amusing animated trailer (above) introduces the app, which is currently available for Apple devices only.
Last month, the animator also did a Game of Thrones and Let It Snow mashup:
Zhgun’s real claim to fame, though, was his GoT re-make of the theme song of popular video game Dumb Ways to Die (below).
