What do sailors see during 30 days of a voyage across the ocean? An incredible time-lapse video traces a cargo ship’s journey shows us.

A sailor and blogger who goes by the name JeffHK used some 80,000 shots to create a breathtaking video that runs for ten minutes. Expect to see, among other things, the Milky Way, sunrises, lightning storms, a gorgeous moonlit sky, squid boats, crazy traffic, and docking at a port.

The route covers the Red Sea, the Gulf of Aden, the Indian Ocean, Colombo, the Malacca Strait, Singapore, the Southeast China sea and Hong Kong.
