If someone told you at the beginning of 2017 that Rafael Nadal (ranked 9) and Roger Federer (ranked 17) would share all four Grand Slam titles between them, you would have probably laughed it off. Heck, even they might have laughed it off.

But here we are, after the Grand Slam season is over, and that’s precisely what has unfolded.

In a magnificent comeback from a Major-less, injury-ridden 2016 the two all-time greats won two Slams each and at the time of writing are ranked No. 1 and No. 2 in the world.

How about that for turning back the clock?

It’s been one heck of a journey for the 31-year-old Nadal and the 36-year-old Federer, with their Slam count now reading 16 and 19 – comfortably ahead of the chasing pack.
