Taylor Swift’s latest song Look What You Made Me Do broke records to become the world’s largest debut in terms of online views. The vengeful song from her album Reputation also became the topic of endless debate. While people argued over their love-hate relationship with the song, Postmodern Jukebox’s Kenton Chen did a cover – shaken, not stirred – that everyone will undoubtedly love.
The jazz rendition takes inspiration from the James Bond soundtrack and infuses the pop song with 007’s sultry elegance and stealth. Chen’s smooth vocals don’t fail to convey the feistiness of Swift’s original song, even as he imitates Swift, “I’m sorry, the old Kenty can’t come to the phone right now. Why? ’Cause he’s dead.”
