As the Haj pilgrimage for the year enters its final days, thousands of Muslims have converged on Mecca from across the globe. Amid the ceremonies, a video (above) of a boy vigorously ripping off plastic bags from a dispenser has gone viral.

Standing outside the prayer area, the boy was seen tearing off plastic bags that pilgrims need to put their shoes and belongings in before entering the prayer area. His action did not go unnoticed, as several passers-by patted him on the back to appreciate his gesture. Towards the end of the video, he is joined by another boy who helps him continue his work.
