Indian cricketer Ambati Rayudu found himself at the centre of controversy on Friday after a video of him surfaced where he displayed abusive behaviour and physically assaulted a citizen in Hyderabad.
According to Hindustan Times, the 31-year-old, who plays for Vidarbha in the Ranji Trophy and the Mumbai Indians in the Indian Premier League, got into an argument with senior citizens who were on their morning walk and who alleged that the cricketer was driving rashly.
In the video, Rayudu can be seen getting out of the car and abusing a person while also man-handling him.
He received criticism for his actions on Twitter.
