NASA astronauts at the International Space Station caught a sweeping view of Hurricane Harvey as it approached the American Coast. In a time-lapse video (above) captured by station cameras at the ISS, the swirling spiral cloud formations looked almost unreal as the satellite passes over the centre of the storm.
The footage is eerily soundless, letting you play the howling music of the winds in your mind as you see it. Hurricane Harvey was declared a Category 4 storm, and it made a landfall in Texas late on Friday with a wind speed of up to 130 mph, BBC reported. Astronaut Jack Fisher from the ISS shared a photograph on Twitter of what the storm looked like from up above.
