The game of leaks continues on one of the most watched shows in the world. After being subject to a cyber attack, Game of Thrones producer HBO suffered further embarrassment on August 16 when an hour’s worth of the sixth episode was briefly broadcast by its Nordic and Spanish platforms. Entertainment Weekly reported the company’s statement on the leak: “The error appears to have originated with a third party vendor and the episode was removed as soon as it was recognized. This is not connected to the recent cyber incident at HBO in the U.S.”
The channel also clarified that the sixth episode is not called ‘Death is the Enemy’ but ‘Beyond the Wall’. The episode includes a battle between Jon Snow and his posse and the White Walkers, confabulations between Daenerys and Tyrion, and rising tensions between the sisters Sansa and Arya Stark.
