On Thursday, India’s Harmanpreet Kaur thrashed the Australian bowlers in the semi-final of the ICC Women’s World Cup as she smashed 171 runs in 115 balls in Derby. Kaur came out to bat when India’s lost both openers Smriti Mandhana and Punam Raut for 35 runs.
However, Kaur stabilized the innings with captain Mithali Raj. Kaur was in a different zone as she smashed the Australian bowlers all across the park. Her innings included 20 fours and seven towering sixes. In the end, India reached 281 in 42 overs.
Twitter exploded after Kaur’s brilliant innings with former England captain Michael Vaughan leading the praises.
