There are many cricket matches that remain in your memory, but only a few make you remember what exactly you were doing when it unfolded live. The India vs England final in the Natwest Series in 2002 at Lord’s is one of them.
Chasing 326 in 50 overs, Mohammad Kaif produced perhaps the best innings of his career, with an unbeaten 87 as India completed a miraculous comeback from 146 for 5.
The match will be remembered for Kaif and Yuvraj Singh as much as captain Sourav Ganguly’s shirtless celebrations in the Lord’s balcony.
15 years after the match, let us relive that glorious evening, along with Dada himself.
