Remember Wile E. Coyote and the Road Runner?
This feud between a panda and peacock at the Chengdu Panda Research Base in China was exactly like that.
The video (above) reveals an adorable, rotund panda angrily chasing a peacock flaunting its plumage. The panda chases the peacock around trees, angrily falling over backwards at one point after the peacock flies up a tree – clearly throwing a tantrum. In fact, the entire segment eerily resembles the climax from Kung Fu Panda 2, as if Po and Lord Shen were really fighting each other.
This fight, however, ended a little differently. The panda is distracted by a bamboo stick and plops down to nibble at it, and is soon joined by the peacock, who has also found something to peck at.
An important message to the world: make dinner, not war.
