Indian squash player Mahesh Mangaonkar ended runner-up after losing to Scotland’s Greg Lobban in the final of the NZ International Classic 2017 in Palmerston North on Sunday.
Third-seeded Greg Lobban beat Mangaonkar 11-8, 15-13, 11-6 in 42 minutes to win the $10,000 Professional Squash Association world tour event.
The third seeded Scot needed just 42 minutes to script a 11-8, 15-13, 11-6 win over Mangaonkar, who was seeded fourth.
The 23-year-old Mangaonkar had beaten Joe Green, Mohd Syafiq Kamal and Eain Yow Ng to reach the final.
