Telugu television actor Pradeep Kumar allegedly committed suicide at his residence in Hyderabad on Wednesday, local media reports said. The popular actor was most famous for his role in the TV series Sapta Matrika. He recently got married to actress Pavani Reddy.

Officials said his body was found hanging from the ceiling early on Wednesday, but that no suicide note has been found yet.

Police are questioning family members and friends, though some local media reports indicated that a financial crisis may have led the actor to commit the act.
