India’s junior paddlers bagged three bronze medals at the Belgium Junior and Cadet Open Table Tennis Championship, PTI reported.

Archana Kamath won the junior girls’ singles bronze medal, while the other two medals came in the junior girls’ and boys’ doubles events.

Archana went down fighting 3-4 to Rebekka Carlsen of Norway in the semi-final. Earlier in the quarter-finals, Archana was in terrific form and outplayed Croatia’s Marta Vukelic winning in straight games at 4-0.

The junior girls’ pairing of Moumitta Dutta and Selena Selvakumar and the junior boys’ combination of Manush Shah and Manav Thakkar lost in the semi-finals and had to settle for the bronze.
