Barcelona coach Luis Enrique is hopeful of “another special evening” as his team face the daunting task of overturning a 3-0 deficit against Italian giants Juventus in the return leg of their Champions League quarter-final clash against at Camp Nou on Wednesday night.
Barca, who created history by beating Paris Saint Germain 6-1 in the last round after being 4-0 down, will want to replicate their performance as they face a similar predicament.
“We have to create a collective crazy atmosphere,” said Enrique ahead of the game. “The key will be to clinical in front of goal. Our goal is to score five goals.”
The win against PSG helped Barca create history as the first team to overturn a 4-0 first-leg deficit.
“Those who experienced the night against PSG at Camp Nou will have another chance to enjoy a historic evening,” Enrique said. “Many results at home and the recent comeback against PSG are statistics that invite optimism.
“If we score the first goal, Camp Nou will get the second and the third will come by itself.”
