Batting maestro Sachin Tendulkar on Thursday said that the upcoming film Sachin - A Billion Dream’ has helped him “relive important moments” of his life, PTI reported. The trailer of the film was launched on Thursday in Mumbai.
In the trailer, Tendulkar revisited various moments of life, which was intertwined with his first love - Cricket.
One of the key features of the trailers is his recollection of the match-fixing scandal of 2000, that had then rocked Indian cricket. “It was Indian cricket’s darkest hour,” Tendulkar is heard saying in the trailer.
“This film has helped me relive the important moments of my life through its making!” Tendulkar told reporters at the launch of the trailer. “I remain a private person but realised that there is much I have not revealed or spoken about, to those who have been instrumental to my life and career, especially my fans.”
“I hope the film will be yet another avenue for fans who have showered their love and blessings on me, to cherish the journey that we undertook together for over 24 years,” he added.
