Second seed Vikram Malhotra defeated third seed Mahesh Mangaonkar in what was the first ever all-Indian final in a PSA World Tour away event, the North of Scotland Open Squash Tournament 2017, in Aberdeen, reported PTI.
In a close contest that lasted 66 minutes, Malhotra edged out Mangaonkar in a thrilling five-setter 3-11, 11-8, 6-11, 13-11, 11-4.
In the semi-finals, Mumbai-based Mangaonkar stunned top-seed Richard Fallows of England while Malhotra had beaten Eain Yow Ng of Malaysia.
