The Supreme Court-appointed Committee of Administrators issued a seven-point instruction to three existing office-bearers of the Board of Control for Cricket in India, reported PTI on Sunday. The three office-bearers are vice-president CK Khanna, joint secretary Amitabh Chaudhary and treasurer Aniruddh Chaudhry.
The latter two were also summoned to the BCCI headquarters and asked to ensure that all instructions from the COA were followed. The instructions will also apply to BCCI CEO Rahul Johri and CFO Santosh Rengnekar.
According to the instructions, all instruction from the COA to the office-bearers would be routed through Johri. All legal documents would be vetted by the COA, while all payments would be jointly cleared by the joint secretary and the COA. The COA’s decision would be final for any payment-related or rule dispute.
