India para athletes bagged eight medals, including three gold, in the 9th Fazza International IPC Athletics Grand Prix in Dubai, PTI reported.
After two days of competitions, India are currently in seventh place with three gold, one silver and four bronze medals.
Sundar Singh Gurjar was the star for India as he won gold in men’s Javelin Throw F-46 and Discus Throw F-46 events. The 21-year-old, who lost his left hand in an accident two years ago, threw a best of 60.33m in Javelin Throw F-46, a whopping 11m more than the second best.
